In early Nebraska, settlers had to deal with fires. One method of defense was to dig a circle around the property. Then another circle 60+ feet away. Resulting ring of grass between the two circles was then burned by the family to create an area that would not burn in a natural fire that would sweep the plains.

Lutheran hour. Walter was first speaker in 1930.1906, first broadcast was him on a violin playing oh holy night. Harding Cox election.
Early on, NBC gave free air time to "the three religions on America; Catholic, prodestant, and Jewish. We had to share with ....cabin, a prodestant broadcast. Another radio station, CBS, gave us a spot Thursday nights. They almost stopped it. The people in New York said the sermons could only be 15 minutes long. Mail started pouring in due to the novelty of a sermon Midwest. Eventually the people at CBS said, you can speak as long as you want, due to the public support.

The Lutheran Hour was off the air for a few years, but the idea whenever lost. 1931 to 1935.

The announcer introducing the Lutheran Hour was the Lone Ranger's voice for a while.

It was the largest religious mail receiver radio broadcast from 1935 on... (if I heard right)

Electronic transmissions were used to broadcast the Lutheran Hour overseas to the Armed Forces to meet the need.

Walter died right before being able to consider the Lutheran Hour for TV.

Know students. Take them out for coffee. They talk, especially if they come to you. Group dinners. If you feed them, they will come. Offer them a church kitchen. Buy them the food. When people give something to a memorial/remembrance venue, they feel like they are involved and a part of it. It is also then a special place for them to go where they can view something they may have at home in a more reverent or feel-good way. This is why family members visit pictures of their deceased family members when they put them at a remembrance/memorial. Same with tombstones. You may walk past a picture of a deceased family member every day, but visit people will visit that same picture if it is somewhere else and in a reverent location to "talk" to them.

In the painting "success" he honestly dispelled it success in building blocks but left it like that because it was funny and almost appropriate.

Joel Osteen's church. Message about a church in Florence. Lost Passion and became a tourist attraction. Stopped being a church and just started doing church on weekends. We have to have a passion to reach others. We are God's search and rescue team. You become lost when you become preoccupied.

About Passion, she was a professor at a Bible school. Her now husband was a student. There was a rule preventing students from dating but not from a student from dating a professor. He found out from one of her friends that she swam at 6 am every day. He started swimming at 5:45. After a week, she asked him what he was doing there. He got defensive and said, "What are you talking about? I love swimming at 6:00." In all the years they have been married, he has never gotten up at 6 to go swimming. He was passionate!

Apparently there isafunny sitcomwith Chevy Chase called "community". The Spanish teacher episode is supposed to be funny.

This guy makes 800 dozen of these tamales during a week and sells a dozen for $8. $6400 a week, about $300,000 a year if it keeps up. He makes them by combining paprika, flour, oregano, and other spices. Then adding meat, and wrapping it in a corn husk. Wrap the corn husks in aluminum foil and keep in a hot pot. He said that advertising on the highway is $75 per square foot of sign if you get caught. He got caught and they took his sign. He threatened to sue them and he got his sign back. He says he has three signs, so if he get caught, it would-be expensive.

How did that get past the grammar Nazi?

I can't say that I've seen "gunpowder" and "heavenly" used to describe the same thing.

This is original packaging

Vibrant Sprint 44 is a tad large. The 44 kso is definitely too large. The soles are thin compared to the bikila. The bikila has arch support as well. These sprint ones make my arches hurt. I'd spend the extra money on the bikila. Tc likes the 42 women's kso.

Av video karaoke maker..... I should try it.

I am able to backup a computer with Comodo backup. I selected a simple copy so files can be read by other computers. Perhaps I should have tried the synchronized copy. That has an option update every x minutes. Maybe there is a weekly option to schedule sync with the simple copy. I may have medium compression on, but still, it's taking 45 minutes to copy 1.6 Gb of data. I also don't understand how to make a bootable copy. Well there is a restore feature. Load that on the new OS I guess.
