In early Nebraska, settlers had to deal with fires. One method of defense was to dig a circle around the property. Then another circle 60+ feet away. I am able to backup a computer with Comodo backup. I selected a simple copy so files can be read by other computers. Perhaps I should have tried the synchronized copy. That has an option update every x minutes. Maybe there is a weekly option to schedule sync with the simple copy. I may have medium compression on, but still, it's taking 45 minutes to copy 1.6 Gb of data. I also don't understand how to make a bootable copy. Well there is a restore feature. Load that on the new OS I guess.
