With a lot of old friends, conversation seems to die after you find out what they do, where they've been, and how their family is doing.

There was one pastor that offered $20 to non church goers if they would go to church for 6 weeks in a row. 80% of participants became members.

Blogs are for more in-depth coverage. You can't always control conversation. Can be bad if someone is angry, but you can openly deal with issues people have.

Wordpress and Blogger are free blog sites. Check out infotweet.

Some older people commented that buying a computer can be intimidating. There is a lot of lack of understanding about what old computers can and cannot do. Use the right software.

Twitter. Gain followers by using hashtags. It identifies common words. Use a # sign before the word. See what is popular and merge your topic with popular topics.
