He did not say a complete sentence, just smiled, and wore baggy clothes. He liked petting the cat, but not in a retarded way. He was spacey. Perhaps it was culture.. How do explain the idea that all of us had the impression that he would first, be interested in the pipes over anything else, which was true, get a colorful glass one, true and woUld use it for illegal non-tobacco use... though he gave no indicators that he would use it in that way... Was his demeanor, presence, and attitude enough for carl, the old man, tc and me to all be led to believe he would use it for other purposes? Yes. But he didn't say anything to lead us to believe it.
