This is a pretty awesome cost of ownership calculator people should look at before buying a car.
New cars generally cost more to own because of the faster rate of depreciation and higher insurance rates due to the higher insured value with these calculations.
What I noticed
Audi - $2,000 each year for repairs and maintenance. Costs about two times more than Volkswagon Jetta/Honda Civic etc. to repair and maintain.
BMW- $3,000 each year on maintenance.
Buick- $1,000 each year on maintenance. Similar in cost to a Honda Civic, except a bit more for gas milage
Civic- $
Jaguar- High repair cost
