If the goal of the American philosphy is innovate to improve both your life and the life of others, let's do it and make it simple. There should be one website (with a postal mail and telephone number to the office) where people submit everything they work on. If the thing invented is 100% original, it will be set up so that 100% of any royalty revenues it generates are transferred to the original submitter. This share (100%) will be able to be transferred in ownership in partial or fullness. So someone can buy 40% of future profit sharing gained by that invention, probably for a lump sum.

If a product derives engineering, design, or something of that nature to a previously existing product or service, it will give a % of profits to the other entity. Originally I was thinking that it would be based off of the % similarity or % of content. So a completely copied paper would be 100%. Hmmm. Would that be ok given that nothing new was created? Well I am sure a lot of things have been created, but that people are just not aware of them. So say there is a hot water heater installed attached to every shower and sink in a home
