..Better yet, understood warnings and conseqences for people that assume those risky jobs. Like, if you underestimate the risk, [by whose standards? Previous experience?] of securing the oil from a hole you drill, [man, this is hard] the employee will have their permant record marked as the cause... No that's bad because perhaps acceptable standards were met, but it still failed anyway, so a hard worker that follows the rules they are told to can be permanently punished as well as their family. If the company is held liable, blame can be absorbed into the name of the compoany, the individuals that made the mistake will not be identified, but all employees, despite their personal efforts and responsibilities, may have a negative label/ connotation and a less secure job. One kind of relevent cop out answer would be that it is the fault of consumers that demand significant quantities of
cheap gas, and fuel companies are using what they know to get that for them. Bam! Who is to blame now?!
