She said that she felt safe and "knew" he was for him. The only thing they agreed on after talking it over for a while was their stance on low govt control and taxes, outlawing abortion, being opposed to premarital relations, and being the same religious demonination. They argue about trivial behaviors daily. It would seem that if the sexual reason was taken out by some extent, perhaps the Internet or premarital relations, it would allow relationships to be based on things that should matter more. However, I wonder if when that happens, one of them ends up guilting the other to declare it a relationship when the curiosity or desires of the other are driving those actions. Therefore a "relationship" emerges for the wrong reasons anyway. Divorce is understood as an option, though not desirable. Just a thought. This is up for discussion.
